Donation Refund Policy: We are grateful for your donation to American Jewish Medical Association (“AJMA”). AJMA only offers donation refunds under exceptional circumstances. Any request for a refund must be made in writing within 30 calendar days of the donation date. If AJMA determines, in its sole discretion, to grant a refund request, such refund will be executed using the original method of payment within 30 business days from the receipt of the refund request. Circumstances under which refunds might be granted include: - The donation was made in error; - The donation was not authorized by the donor; - The donor’s circumstances have changed materially, for instance if the donation was made from the proceeds of a sale that was later canceled or refunded. If the donor has filed a tax return claiming a charitable deduction for the refunded gift, the donor is responsible for contacting their tax advisor to determine if their tax return needs to be amended.
