About The Speakers:

ree
Guy Zvili

Guy Zvili, founder of the "One Heart" healing program, has dedicated his life to supporting trauma survivors. In response to the October 7th massacre, Guy initiated a community healing project for Nova survivors. His groundbreaking work included a weeklong retreat in February 2023 that brought together over 120 Nova survivors in Ojai, California, helping them rediscover hope, community, and healing. Guy will share his holistic approach to helping survivors transition from darkness to light through organic healing processes, trust-building, and deep connection.

ree
Shelley Hermon

Shelley Hermon, whose personal journey is deeply connected to trauma recovery, continues to document the survivors’ healing through artistic expression and their courageous Jewish spirit. Shelley’s previous award-winning documentary, Within the Eye of the Storm, documented the rare friendship between bereaved Israeli and Palestinian fathers, demonstrating her unique ability to capture humanity’s most delicate moments. With And There Was Light, Shelley further showcases her talent for telling stories of resilience in the face of overwhelming darkness. Shelley will provide insights into the ongoing filmmaking process, sharing her experience of filming fragility and strength; capturing post-traumatic growth as it is happening; and her commitment to showing the world that just as trauma is universal, so too is the power to heal!

This is a unique opportunity to explore breakthroughs in post-traumatic growth, featuring exclusive footage from the documentary, and to hear directly from pioneers in trauma recovery. The session will conclude with a Q&A, offering a chance to engage with both Shelley Hermon and Guy Zvili.
