Please join us to learn about the newly-formed DC Area AJMA chapter and what it has to offer you. Amidst growing antisemitism across the United States, the healthcare sector has faced unique challenges manifesting on social media, the behaviors of individual physicians and providers, marginalization of Jewish medical/nursing students and residents, blacklists among mental health professionals, and systemic issues within healthcare institutions and association.
The event will feature a unique presentation by special guest Brigadier General Dr. Elon Glasberg, most recent Surgeon General of Israel and former Chief of IDF Medical Corps. Dr. Glasberg will speak about the increasingly innovative and trailblazing approaches taken by the IDF in recent conflicts to treat severely injured soldiers, and the resulting lives saves, including historically low rates of fatalities among the injured.
