Membership Refund Policy

We are grateful for your membership dues to American Jewish Medical Association (“AJMA”).

AJMA only offers membership dues refunds under exceptional circumstances.

Any request for a refund must be made in writing within 30 calendar days of the initial subscription or renewal date. 

If AJMA determines, in its sole discretion, to grant a refund request, such refund will be executed using the original method of payment within 30 business days from the receipt of the refund request.

Circumstances under which refunds might be granted include:

• The membership subscription was made in error; 

• The membership subscription was not authorized by the donor;

• The Member’s circumstances have changed materially, for instance if the donation was made from the proceeds of a sale that was later canceled or refunded, but only within 60 days. 

If the Member has filed a tax return claiming a charitable deduction for the refunded gift, the Member is responsible for contacting their tax advisor to determine if their tax return needs to be amended.
