About the event

A webinar in presented in partnership with the Hope for Israel Alliance

Since October 7, we have witnessed a volcanic eruption of antisemitism within the medical community, affecting both Jewish providers and patients. Imagine a sick Israeli American elderly woman being treated by a physician who frequently posts hateful messages about Zionists. Would she feel confident that she will receive the best and most compassionate care she deserves? What discriminatory experiences have Jewish healthcare providers endured over the past 9 months?

Join us for an enlightening webinar featuring Dr. Yael Halaas, founder and President of the American Jewish Medical Association (AJMA), and Michelle Stravitz, Executive Director. The AJMA, established after October 7, 2023, is a non-political, non-profit organization dedicated to creating a safe and enriching community for Jewish healthcare professionals.

This webinar will illuminate the widespread impact of antisemitism in healthcare, affecting not only healthcare providers but also hospitalized patients, outpatients, their families, and society as a whole. These issues strike at the very heart of our healthcare system, which is essential and fundamental to our lives.
