Join AJMA and JOWMA for an important webinar focusing on the medical implications of the extreme sexual violence perpetrated on Israelis on October 7 2024. Moderated by Mira,Hellmann-Ostrov, MD FACOG and Sahar Wertheimer, MD FACOG, this webinar will feature both Israeli and US based experts on psychological and medical implications of sexual violence.  

Our incredible lineup of featured speakers include: 

Ayelet Razin Bat Or, former Director of the Authority of the Advancement of the Status of Women in Israel. Among her many accomplishments with a long term specialization in the field of combatting gender based violence and advocating for women's rights, Ayelet is also the former head of Government Relations at the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel.  She is a co-founder of the Dinah Project addressing the gender based violence of October 7 and beyond. 

Dr Devorah Bauman, OB/GYN at Hadassa Hospital who has spoken on this topic internationally and also runs the Jerusalem rape crisis center.

Dr Renana Eitan, Chief Psychiatrist, who has been part of the delegation that speaks internationally about the mental condition of the survivors and hostages of 10/7. 

Orit Sulitzeanu, Director of Israel's Rape Crisis Center and represents the hostages internationally. Orit was also instrumental in her contributions to the brief submitted to the UN summarizing the sexual crimes committed on 10/7
