Join us for an exclusive New York preview of The ASSET: 12 Minutes to Save a Life, followed by a panel discussion and reception featuring special guests from the film.
At the center of The ASSET is AJMA member Dr. Anna Goldenberg, a trauma surgeon, educator, and mentor at Cooper University Hospital. Following the loss of her friend and former trauma protégé, Dr. Shachar Shimonovich, Dr. Goldenberg fulfilled his final wish by bringing the Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma (ASSET) course to Israel in 2024. What began as an act of remembrance became an ongoing mission to strengthen trauma preparedness and save lives through education and collaboration.
The evening will bring together voices from the film and the Jewish healthcare community for a conversation about loss, purpose, medicine, service, and the relationships that connect healthcare professionals across borders.
